There are so many muscle building diets
available on the market today that it can be quite daunting figuring out which
one to try.
Where do I start?!?!
I hear you... I hear you.
You have the
Palumbo diet, the
Cut diet, the
Anabolic diet,
Velocity,
CKD,
Keto style, the Zone diet, high carb, low carb,
refeeds... the list goes on and on!
If you are a beginner to weight lifting and
bodybuilding, I think the best place to start with all these lean muscle
building diets is NOT to start with them.
I'm not saying that these diets don't work or
that you shouldn't use them, because all good bodybuilding diets have their
place.
What I am saying is, find out about YOU first.
What is your metabolism like?
Are you a
hard gainer or do you put on fat easily?
Can you gain muscle by simply pushing a lawn mower
around?
The bottom line?
You guessed it...
everyone is different.
So it becomes your job to find out which diet
approach works best for you.
Some will find that a higher carbohydrate diet
will work better whereas other may be more suited to a higher fat / lower carb
plan.
I'm going to recommend that you start here,
with our weight lifting diet basics.
Read it a couple of times if you have to, until
it clicks.
